My first love is drawing the human form. I remember the first time I entered a live figure drawing class. The connection I felt to the model and textures of the drawing materials combined with the physical movements required to capture the model's gestures on my paper with charcoal was a powerful emotional moment. I felt connected, passionate, and engaged.
